It’s a rivalry as old as time.
Charles Barkley has renewed his feud with the good people of San Antonio, doubling down on his long-running joke about their women at a NCAA watch party on Sunday.
Barkley has made it clear he won’t stop hating on San Antonio.
When the NBA legend took the stage at the NCAA watch party during the Final Four of this year’s March Madness, he was met with boos before he even spoke.
However, he eventually won the crowd over when he told them he thought San Antonio is a “great city.”
He even hailed the San Antonio Spurs and the team’s head coach, Gregg Popovich.
However, the mood quickly turned sour when he revisited his long-standing tradition of joking about the city’s women.
“Yes, y’all got some big b******* here,” he said in a moment that was met with jeers from the crowd.
Unsurprisingly, footage of Barkley’s x-rated comment went viral, and it wasn’t long before fellow sports media personality Shannon Sharpe reacted.
“Man, Chuck out of his mind,” the NFL legend remarked on his Nightcap podcast.
“It goes back decades [Barkley’s feud with San Antonio women] and you know Shaq is from San Antonio, he went to high school there and Shaq be laughing and gassing it.”
Those familiar with Barkley will know long the feud goes back.

His most famous saying is him just claiming San Antonio has “big ole women.”
Other clips sees him accusing them of “woofin’ down churros,” and even mocking their choice of underwear, claiming they wear “bloomers” instead of Victoria’s Secret.
Lots of Barkley’s jokes about San Antonio often includes fellow Inside the NBA host Shaquille O’Neal — who went to high school in San Antonio — erupting in laughter.
The most viral clips are of O’Neal and Kenny Smith baiting Barkley into slamming San Antonio women before the pair start uncontrollably laughing.
However, in recent years Barkley’s comments about San Antonio women have drastically calmed.
That’s because in 2021, he claimed that he was told to cut the jokes out on Inside the NBA.
“They won’t even let me talk about San Antonio anymore,” he said on the Grant & Danny show in 2021, per TMZ.
“They’re like, ‘Charles, we got one lady wrote an article.’ I’m like first of all, I didn’t call anybody PERSONALLY fat in San Antonio. I was just joking around and this one lady wrote this article.
“We’ve been having fun with this for probably 10, 15 years. … You can’t even have fun nowadays without these jackasses trying to get you canceled and things like that.”
Despite the backlash, it seems Barkley will never let go of his fasnaction with the women of San Antonio.
