Bindi Irwin marked a big first for her 4-year-old daughter, Grace Warrior Irwin Powell, and shared a glimpse at the "bittersweet" moment with her followers.
"Grace’s first haircut. ❤️," the conservationist celebrated alongside a video of the occasion uploaded to Instagram on Monday, April 7. "My. Heart."
“So, today is a very exciting day,” Bindi announced in a selfie-style shot that began in the car on the way to their appointment.

Next, the clip showed Grace sitting sideways in a chair as her stylist knelt on the floor behind her, brushing out her hair first before spraying it with water to dampen it.
Grace was clearly a bit nervous about her first trim, with her mom noting, “Look, and you can’t even feel it! Isn’t that wild?”
“I didn’t even feel it!” Grace agreed, fawning over her “cheeky hair.”
“Oh, that’s what a haircut feels like,” she added later, as her stylist moved on to cut the side, where she could see it in the mirror.

Fans were happy to get a glimpse at such a special moment, with one thanking Bindi for sharing.
"Oh my she truly is such a precious little soul ?," someone else praised, while another acknowledged how "bittersweet" the moment must be for her mother.
"Knowing the bits that get cut were Gracies first hairs ?," they explained. "She did so well!"
"Wait… wasn’t Grace just born a couple months ago?" someone else asked, shocked by the way "time flies."
Grace recently celebrated her fourth birthday, which fell on her parents' fifth wedding anniversary.
