John Terry calmed down by his player after swearing at Mark Clattenburg as brawl erupts at Baller League clash

John Terry is as feisty as a manager as he was during his playing days.

The Chelsea hero was left irate during a Baller League match between his 26ers and F.C RTW and he certainly let former Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg know about his frustrations.

In a clip shared on Sky Sports, Terry could be heard saying: “There’s no f****** point”.

Terry also told Clattenburg: “I’ve got to do your job for you.”

So frustrated was Terry, one of his own players had to hold him back from doing anything further.

The 44-year-old’s anger came in a contest where tensions simmered.

It was no more evident than when F.C RTW’s Josh Harrop cleaned out 26ers’ Sak Hassan with a wild challenge on the left.

Harrop, who came through Manchester United‘s academy and scored on his senior debut for the club, slid in rapidly but ended up sparking an all-in brawl after he caught Hassan high on his leg.

As Harrop ran backwards into his own half, Hassan raced over and gave him a shove as the pair came face-to-face.

Several players from both sides then rushed in as tensions briefly spilled over.

Harrop’s high tackle ended with Clattenburg giving him a two-minute suspension.

The feisty contest ultimately finished 3-3.

Goals from Hassan and Jack Crook gave the 26ers a two-goal cushion inside the opening 12 minutes.

However, F.C RTW bounced back to level the scores in the 19th minute.

The 26ers went 3-2 ahead in the 24th minute via J’ardell Stirling.

Unfortunately for Terry and his troops, they couldn’t hold on for the victory as Manuchim Oke-William scored a last-gasp equaliser for F.C RTW.

Although the Chelsea great was disappointed not to have taken the win, he did not hold back in his verdict of the refereeing performance.

“We were superb, we maybe should’ve killed the game,” Terry said.

“We were 2-0 up and then we kind of concede… we were fantastic for the majority of the game but it was those last little bits.

“For me, the refs are awful. The refs are terrible, they need to take some responsibility because two of my players are trying to break up fights on the pitch after diabolical tackles.

“I don’t want to be that person coming on… the players have got to do better but the refs have got to take responsibility.”

Terry added: “We were 2-0 up, cruising and then there are a few fouls which are getting out of hand and it gets messy, they got a goal and then there are tensions.

“I’ve not slept the last week. It’s frustrating, especially when the players have done so well for the majority of the game.”
