Kentucky had a very good season in year 1 of the Mark Pope era, making it to the Sweet 16 before losing to SEC rival, Tennessee. The Wildcats brought in a lot of guys in the transfer portal after Pope came over from BYU. Bringing those guys helped them go on the run, but we are now at the portal part of the season where schools are going to lose guys as well.
That is the case in Lexington as guard Kerr Kriisa announced he was entering the transfer portal, and on Sunday it was revealed that he would be heading back to the Big 12 to play for Wes Miller at Cincinnati.
