I don’t even ask him - Stephen Fleming on MS Dhoni retirement rumors
The rumors of MS Dhoni's IPL retirement were at their peak during the match between Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals as CSK legend's parents attended the game, which is quite rare.
Dhoni played an absolutely awful knock in the match as he scored 30 runs off 26 balls, with 1 four and 1 six, and failed to help CSK chase the 184-run target.
Many would have expected him to announce his retirement after the match, but that didn't happen. The CSK head coach, Stephen Fleming, attended the press conference, and he was asked about Dhoni's retirement, to which he responded by saying that the legendary wicketkeeper-batsman is still going strong and they don't ask him about his future. He said:
“He is still going strong, and I don’t even ask him (about the future) these days.”
