Duck Dynasty star Jase Robertson recently shared a health update on his parents, Phil, 78, and Kay, 77—and he didn't sugarcoat his blunt assessment.
On April 2, Jase spoke about how his parents are doing on the Unashamed With the Robertson Family podcast.

"To tell you the truth, it hasn't been good," he admitted.
In December, Jase announced Phil's Alzheimer's diagnosis on the podcast, explaining that his father also suffered from a blood disease and fractured vertebrae, causing significant pain. Meanwhile, Kay suffered a "horror show" fall in February that landed her in the hospital.
"For my mom, it's been a lot better this past week," Jase explained on April 2. "Because she was really not going good. She got an infection from a fall, from a cut that had happened earlier."
His older brother, Al Robertson, noted that their mother was in the hospital for 11 days for her injuries.
"Now, she's still in the hospital but it's rehab, physically, trying to get her to eat," Jase continued. "But we were kind of dealing with the fact that maybe this is it. I mean, that's what it seemed like."
As for Phil's health, Jase didn't have a positive outlook, either.
"I'm just giving the blunt truth," he said. "I'll say not good."
Jase added, “We’re making them comfortable and you know, we’re doing the best we can. So I think that’s just what you do."
In January, A&E announced a new seriesDuck Dynasty: The Revival, which will feature Willie and Korie Robertson and their family. A release date has not yet been revealed.
