Whoopi Goldbergisn't messing around when it comes to speaking out against body-shaming.

Kennedy, the United States Secretary of Health and Human Services, spoke at a Make America Healthy Again event over the weekend, where he told the politician, "You look like you ate Gov. Morrissey." He also insisted on putting the governor on a "carnivore diet" and suggested Gov. Morrissey do a public monthly weigh-in.

After re-watching the clip during Tuesday's episode of The View, Goldberg and her co-hosts insisted that Kennedy's "fat-shaming" comments were not only "offensive," but also counterproductive.

"Mr. Kennedy Jr.," Goldberg said, "If you really want to do something, people could use your help. They could use your help getting them the access they need to keep their families well."

"Please work on that, and let the governor take care of his business," Goldberg, 69, added, telling Kennedy, "You don't need to be the person pointing it out. You need to be the person helping the state."

During the same conversation, Goldberg's co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin agreed that Kennedy's comments were just plain "mean."

"That was so mean and uncomfortable," Farah Griffin said. "And I don't think the audience liked it."

Joy Beharalso suggested that Kennedy should be "canceled" for his controversial body-shaming comments while insisting that the HHS Secretary should "be careful" about making such comments.
