The ‘It’s a little bit funny’

This particular joke involves choosing a gushy love song for a text exchange with a partner.

Most pranksters choose Elton John’s timeless classic “Your Song”, since its conversational lyrics lend themselves to hilarious jokes so well.

The prank works best if you can work the lyrics of the song into an existing conversation.

To enact the prank, simply message the first line of the song to your partner.

Then, send the next line each time they reply.

    For example:

You: It’s a little bit funny

    Them: What’s funny?

    You: This feeling inside

    Them: What feeling?

You: I’m not one of those who can easily hide

Them: What are you talking about? Are you okay?

You: I don’t have much money, but boy, if I did. I’d buy a big house where we both could live

When the time comes to let your partner off the hook, simply say: “April fools!”

    The ‘Who is this?!’

For this prank, you’ll need to wait for someone to text you.

Then, when you receive a message, simply pretend that you don’t know them.

Whatever the message is, simply reply: “Who is this?”

When they say their name, reply back with: “Who?”

Before they get too frustrated, text them saying “April Fools!”

    The Facebook Post

For this one, you will need to hide your number.

There are several ways to do this, but the best way is to go into your phone settings where you can disable your caller ID.

Text your friend something strange like “I’ve just seen your Facebook post and I am extremely interested in the zebras you have for sale, what price would you sell for?”

The ‘thanks for signing up for Cat Facts!’

This prank will also require you to block your number.

It will involve pretending to be a fact subscription service, such as a “Cat facts.”

For example, first text could read something along the lines of “Thanks for signing up for Cat Facts! You now will receive fun daily facts about CATS! >o
