March is National Blood Clot Awareness Month, with experts raising awareness of a serious condition that kills thousands of Americans each year. Aaron chats with Leslie Lake, the volunteer president of the National Blood Clot Alliance: she shares her own story of experiencing a life-threatening blood clot and describes the signs and symptoms people ought to be on the watch for – as well as how to prevent blood clots from forming in the first place, plus how to treat them when they do form.
