DENVER (KDVR) — Four people were transported to the hospital after a crash in Lakewood, according to a post on X from West Metro Fire.
West Metro Fire said that all the people injured in the crash were in serious but stable condition.
One person had to be extricated from their vehicle.
Parts of West Colfax Avenue are closed as police investigate a crash, according to a post on X from the Lakewood Police Department.
Police said the eastbound lanes of W. Colfax Avenue will be closed at Ingalls Street.
Hotels, Boulder residents react to Sundance move to ColoradoThe department said that drivers going eastbound would be diverted north or south at Jay Street.
The department asks that travelers try to avoid the area for the next hour or so.
