AARON Rodgers could retire from football if he doesn’t get the deal he wants.
According to Adam Schefter, Rodgers might not want to play in the NFL in 2025.
Aaron Rodgers is taking his sweet time to pick a new team, and Schefter believes that is because he isn’t sure he wants to play.
“Until I hear him, ‘I want to play,’ then I can tell you people are asking that question about whether or not he wants to play,” he said.
“It’s come up. I’m hearing he might not want to play. Which by the way, again, I don’t want to speak for him because I don’t want to get called out.
“We’re speculating, but it shouldn’t be that hard. Either you want to play for the Steelers or you don’t.
“What are we waiting for?”
NFL fans are getting tired of the Aaron Rodgers saga and shared their thoughts on social media.
“He should be considering retiring,” one fan said.
“Retire already. Your done,” another fan said.
“Dude just feeds off of attention. My god,” a third fan said.
“Hes washed, just retire,” a fourth fan said.
“He is done… Just spare us the drama and retire,” a fifth fan said.
Rodgers has been in communication with multiple teams this offseason, but it seems like the Steelers are his final option.
He was in talks with the New York Giants, but they have pivoted to Russell Wilson.
Rodgers also spoke to the Minnesota Vikings, but they are expected to roll with JJ McCarthy.
