McDonalds Fans Express Extreme Disappointment as New Desserts Arent Available in the US: Bro What Do We Get

It’s no secret that our favorite fast-food restaurants tend to release some of their most creative menu options internationally. Recently, we came across a mouth-watering frosty flavor only available at Wendy’s locations in the Bahamas, which rightfully sent fans into a frenzy trying to figure out why such a creation hasn’t become available in the states.

While in some cases, an internationally available item does make it to the states, like KFC’s mashed potato poppers, the harsh truth of the matter is that their representation here is unequivocally slim. Case in point, a recently advertised selection of Minecraft-themed desserts hitting McDonald’s locations outside of the US, seemingly the perfect collaboration for an American market.

“McDonald's is wild with the new Minecraft collab and the desserts look incredible... outside of the US,” @snackolator captioned their eye-opening post to Instagram. “In the UK you can get an Apple Cake McFlurry that has a sour apple sauce, cake pieces, and apple pieces blended together,” the content creator continued. “Canada gets a new Apple Shake that you can enjoy with your Minecraft meal, and in Singapore they are getting three cotton candy items: a McFlurry, sundae and a cone.”

If you’re feeling overwhelmed with emotions at this point, don’t worry, we are too. It comes as no surprise that such a variety of treats would be hitting McDonald’s locations internationally. As fans, we can only hope that one or more of them experiences so much success that they end up on menus here in the US.

“How come the United States doesn’t have any creative concepts,” one fan asked in the comment section below @snackolator’s post. “This would be so cool,” they continued, suggesting that the promotion could be turned into a “movie month-theme kids meal line.”

And while we would agree that a movie-themed kids meal promotion of any kind would be a fantastic idea, some fans weren't so quick to look for a silver lining. “No surprise, the US doesn’t get anything cool,” one person wrote. “Oh I’m going to become violent,” another added.

While we wait to see if any of the above-mentioned Minecraft treats will be making it to a McDonald’s near us, we can’t help but wonder if the fast food giant will ever tackle its ongoing ice cream machine issues. “But…is the machine going to WORK,” one fan wrote, asking the truly important questions. I guess in the meantime, we shall see.
