1. Savannah, Georgia
“Savannah is a gorgeous southern coastal city located in Georgia with easy access to South Carolina, as well," Gage tells Parade. "The Savannah/Hilton Head (SAV) airport is incredibly easy to navigate with direct flights from 32 airports. You can find gorgeous oak trees all throughout the city and still be less than 30 minutes from the beach. If you are a film lover, be sure to check out their movie tours.”Related: The Southern Travel Destination Everyone Should Visit in the U.S. at Least Once, According to Getaway Guru Darley Newman

2. Washington, D.C.
“Washington, D.C. has so much more to offer than ‘just politics and museums,’" Gage says. "Spring in D.C. is magical as the District blooms with cherry blossoms. (Insider’s tip: Head to the arboretum for less cherry blossom crowds). With 26 Michelin restaurants in the DMV area, it is a city destined to leave your stomach feeling loved. With three airports that all have access to public transportation plus the train and bus hub of Union Station, D.C. is a very accessible destination that often makes transit more affordable.”

3. Kauai, Hawaii
“Kauai is known as the garden island and it is easy to immediately see why," Gage explains. "Though you will absolutely need a rental car to get around, it’s very easy to see the entire island in one trip. Whether you want to live at the beach, hike for days, or eat your heart out, Kauai has something for you. No matter what you do, you need to take some time to see the Nā Pali coast. Pro tip: sit on the left side of the plane for your best chance at beautiful mount views on final approach/landing.”Related: 115 Spring Break Instagram Captions To Liven Up Your Feed

6. Paris, France
“The best spring break trip I ever took was to Paris and it is a trip I would recommend to everyone—even solo travelers," Gage says. "Take time to sit in a cafe with an espresso and read, buy some art along the Seine, or spend hours exploring museums like my personal favorite, Centre Pompidou. To take full advantage of spring, ride the line 1 metro to Château de Vincennes and visit the castle then walk around the Parc floral de Paris surrounding yourself with over 30,000 plant species.”

It is important to choose what vibe you’re prioritizing since they are in different parts of the country and there are two main airports to choose from.”
