CAITLIN Clark has received a big task, continuing to display her popularity in the WNBA.
The Indiana Fever superstar, 23, will have a TV gig as she will get ready to play in her second season in the WNBA in less than two months.
It’s been revealed that Clark will appear on an upcoming episode of David Leterman’s Netflix series My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.
The 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year sat down with the legendary talk show host for a one-on-one interview, and the two will discuss various topics.
The episode will premiere on April 8.
Fans were ecstatic to find out that Clark would be interviewed by the 77-year-old comedian and former late-night talk show host Letterman.
“We will be watching!” one wrote.
“Excited for this epic chat!” another commented.
“I can’t wait for this episode to drop,” a third said.
Numerous big-time celebrities, including Barack Obama, George Clooney, Kim Kardashian, and Kanye West, have been guests on Letterman’s program.
Clark has been one of the most recognizable athletes in the last several years thanks to her production for the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Fever.
She was selected with the No. 1 overall pick in last year’s WNBA Draft.
Netflix revealed a trailer Monday that showed just how Clark learned to play basketball and compete.
“Do you have to win everything?” Letterman asked. You’ve got to win Halloween, bring home the most candy?”
“I love Halloween,” Clark sandy. When we trick-or-treated in Des Moines growing up, I would be so sweaty under my costume because I would be in a dead sprint from house to house.
“I had to have the most candy. That’s how I operated.”
“So you’re still like that?” Letterman asked.
“Well I don’t trick-or-treat anymore,” Clark replied, causing laughter from the audience.
Letterman’s show is currently in its fifth season and will feature guests which include Charles Barkley, Kevin Durant, Robert Downey Jr., and Jerry Seinfeld.
It won’t be hard to find Clark on the television screen during the 2025 WNBA campaign.
Out of Clark’s 44 Fever games, 41 of those will be played on national TV or streaming services.
ABC will provide coverage on the opening game between the Fever and Chicago Sky on May 17.
