Tyrese Proctor and the Duke Blue Devils are off to the Sweet 16, after taking care of business against Baylor 89-66 on Sunday.
It wasn’t easy for the Blue Devils early, as Baylor led for much of the first half. However, Duke went on a devastating run to end the first half, and never looked back. While Cooper Flagg gets much of the talk, Sunday was about the performance by Proctor.
Proctor finished with 25 points, going 9-of-10 from the field, and 7-of-8 from the 3-point line. Here are some highlights from his historic afternoon:

— Frankie Vision (@Frankie_Vision) March 23, 2025Proctor became the first Duke player to hit at least 5 3-pointers in consecutive games in the NCAA Tournament since 2010. The last Duke player to do that was non other than current head coach Jon Scheyer.

The Blue Devils entered the NCAA Tournament as the betting favorite, and through the first 2 games, Proctor and his teammates have done nothing to change anyone’s opinion on them.
Duke will be in action in the Sweet 16 next week, and the Blue Devils will take on the winner of the Oregon and Arizona game. If the Blue Devils play Arizona, it will be a rematch from a game in November when Duke won, 69-55.
