DENVER (KDVR) — A man died after he was ejected from his vehicle during a rollover crash in the early morning hours on Sunday, police reported.
FOX31 Newsletters: Sign up to get breaking news sent to your inboxThe Aurora Police Department said that at about 6:25 a.m., a man driving a 2022 Dodge Charger, heading west on East 16th Avenue approaching Havana Street, lost control of his vehicle. He struck two parked cars before rolling over.
Police said they've tentatively identified the driver as a 25-year-old man, and said he was ejected from the vehicle and died on scene.
There were no other people involved in the crash and no other vehicles, besides the parked cars. Detectives are working to complete a scene recreation, which will determine the driver of the Charger's speed and other factors leading to the crash.
Police do believe that alcohol and speed contributed to the deadly crash. The agency said this is the 6th deadly crash of 2025.
