Two people were arrested Saturday night on suspicion of murder in a fatal Friday shooting at an Aurora apartment complex, police said.
Laneidra Williams-Whitehead, 45, and her son, 24-year-old Jamir Williams, were arrested on investigation of first-degree murder and booked into the Aurora Detention Center, according to a news release from the police department.

The victim was discovered Friday night by his downstairs neighbor. Police said the neighbor heard noises from the upstairs apartment just after 10:15 p.m. and decided to investigate.
Paramedics took the victim to the hospital where he later died from his injuries, police said.
