(BCN) -- The City of Santa Rosa is seeking public feedback to shape the future of inRESPONSE: Mental Health Support Team, officials said.
The inRESPONSE: Mental Health Support Team is a specialized crisis response unit designed to address mental health-related calls.
inRESPONSE includes a licensed mental health clinician, a paramedic, and an engagement specialist, with support from wrap-around service providers, according to city officials.
The team, which works alongside the Santa Rosa Police Department, is trained in de-escalation and mental health evaluations. They remain unarmed to focus on providing appropriate mental health resources, a press release issued on Thursday noted.

Survey responses will remain confidential and anonymous, and the data will help shape the program's future direction, officials said.

The survey will close on Apr. 12.
