A SOCIAL media influencer who used to work at Starbucks shared a helpful tip to score an off-menu option.

Customers wishing to order the dirty chai latte at Starbucks can use a little-known ordering hack to save money.
Instead of ordering a dirty chai latte, the influencer suggests ordering a Caffè Latte with artificial chai syrup instead.
In a video posted to TikTok, Chelsea Dyan – username @gratefulheartcollective – says she had picked up the idea while working as a Starbucks barista.
“This was the most requested hack after my last video,” Dyan said.
“Instead of ordering a Chai Tea Latte with two shots of espresso, you’re gonna order a Caffè Latte with four pumps of chai syrup.”
HOW TO ORDER
Dyan’s order can be placed through the Starbucks app, as the video demonstrate.
However, she clarified in the comments that it can’t be ordered off the app outright unless it’s been ordered in store.
One user was not able to order the product through the app, and was then informed that it could only be re-ordered through the app.
“Once you order it one time in the store you can then order it on the app by just clicking the [plus] on your previous order,” she said.
The video showed a Starbucks mobile order with a Caffè Latte with four pumps of Chai and a Chai Tea Latte with two shots of espresso.
The former was priced at $6.38 and the latter $8.64.
“You get that lovely chai taste – with the caffeine – for two dollars less,” said Dyan.
“I still think this price is a little bit outrageous for one beverage. But if you’re a dirty chai lover, you gotta try this one.”
