COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – One person is dead and another injured after a two-car collision in east Columbus late Sunday night.
According to Columbus police, officers responded to the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and Minerva Avenue in the Minerva Park neighborhood at 10:18 p.m. Found were two cars that had collided head-on, with two people injured at the scene.
One person was taken to an area hospital but died soon afterward. The other was also hospitalized, but their condition is unknown.
It was the second of three fatal crashes that occurred on the east side of the city within a 10-hour period.
