Happy Selection Sunday to all who celebrate.
The NCAA Tournament bracket will be set Sunday night and the Arizona and Grand Canyon men’s programs will know where they are headed for the Round of 64 later this week.
Let’s check in on what some experts are saying about the two squads and where they might land during the Selection Sunday bracket reveal.
What seed will Arizona get in the NCAA Tournament bracket?
As of Sunday morning after Arizona’s loss to Houston in the Big 12 title game, most predictors have the Wildcats as a No. 4 seed per BracketMatrix.com.
ESPN’s Joe Lunardi has Arizona as the No. 4 seed in the South Region in Denver and would play No. 13-seed and Big South winner High Point.
The Athletic’s Joe Rexrode has the Wildcats penciled in at a No. 3 seed, the only outlet on BracketMatrix with Tommy Lloyd’s squad that high. This would put Arizona in the West Region in Denver against No. 14-seed and Big Sky winner Montana in the Round of 64.

CBS Sports’ Jerry Palm is the opposite end among the bracket folks with Arizona snagging a No. 5 seed. Palm has Arizona matched up against No. 12-seed UC San Diego, the winner out of the Big West, in the Midwest Region. Palm’s prediction sets up a Round of 32 meeting with GCU if things break a certain way.
What seed will Grand Canyon get in the NCAA Tournament bracket?
BracketMatrix has the ‘Lopes at a No. 13 seed after winning the WAC Tournament Saturday night.
Palm has Grand Canyon as the No. 13 seed matched up against No. 4-seed Texas A&M in the Midwest Region, which could set up an in-state game between the Wildcats and Antelopes in the Round of 32. If it were to happen, it would be just the sixth time the programs have ever played.
Lunardi has the same prediction as Palm about the ‘Lopes.
The Athletic also happens to have the ‘Lopes against Texas A&M, just in this case it is in a No. 14-seed vs. No. 3-seed game in the South Region instead of the 13-5 game.
How to watch the NCAA Tournament bracket reveal
The men’s tournament bracket will be revealed at 3 p.m. MST on CBS. The First Four tips off March 18-19, and the Round of 64 begins on March 20.
