An American Airlines plane caught fire on the tarmac at Denver International Airport on Thursday, according to reporting from Denver7.
The plane was at gate C38 when the fire started and evacuation slides were deployed, a DIA spokesperson told Denver7. No injuries were reported.
News of the fire spread quickly on social media after passengers posted videos of smoke billowing from the plane just after 6 p.m.
Representatives for DIA, American Airlines and the FAA could not immediately be reached for comment.
