Meghan Markle celebrated International Women's Day with a sweet post that even featured a rare snap of her and her husband Prince Harry's daughter, Princess Lilibet. But not everyone was impressed by the upload–with some fans even calling the upload "irresponsible."
On Saturday, the Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram with a trio of snaps that celebrate "the strong women around us & the girls with dreams who will become women with vision."

"Also thanking those who uplift us every day," she continued in the caption of her March 8 post.
The first image appeared to be of the Suits alum when she was just a toddler and her mom, Doria Ragland. Markle shared a more recent photo of the two in the second slide, followed by the controversial snap of Lilibet and her father, before concluding with a sweet photo of herself with her husband of nearly seven years on the beach.
In the photo, the 40-year-old father of two cradled his 3-year-old as the two soaked up the sun on a fun day at sea. They both dressed casually, with the young princess sporting a pair of floral leggings and a hot pink T-shirt and her father rocking a pair of striped shorts, a gray tee, a pair of sunglasses and a backward baseball cap.
The only thing missing? Lilibet's life jacket—and fans weren't about to let that go unnoticed.

Though Markle, 43, disabled the comments on her Instagram post, several took screenshots of the image and re-shared it to other social media platforms to highlight their concern over the apparently forgotten safety device.
Several cited a law in California—where the family resides full-time, though it's unclear if that's where this photo was snapped—that requires all children under the age of 13 to wear a Coast Guard-approved life jacket while on a moving vessel, with one X (formerly Twitter user) calling this move a "massive mistake."
A second said the decision was "extremely irresponsible."
"No lifejacket on a 3-year-old while boating," a different social media user said in shock. "Shameful neglect for her safety."
Someone else shamed the couple for not only Lilbet's missing life jacket, but Harry's as well, "Not a single life jacket in site!" they exclaimed in part.
"I grew up on boats," one more critic wrote, "The abject negligence of not having a life vest on that child is mind-boggling."
As of writing, neither the couple nor their rep have addressed the backlash.
Along with Princess Lilibet, the couple are also the parents of a 5-year-old son, Prince Archie.
