Evan Engram will be looking for a new NFL team this offseason, according to a report.
The Jacksonville Jaguars have released Engram, per NFL insider Tom Pelissero. Engram, a former Ole Miss product, had a message for the Jaguars on social media shortly after news of his release became public on Thursday night:

— Evan Engram (@eazyengram) March 7, 2025Engram was limited to 9 games during the 2024 season. However, he was very productive during the time that he was on the field. He caught 47 passes for 365 yards and 1 touchdown with the Jags last season.
Engram has long been one of the NFL’s best tight ends. After an 8-year career, he’s just shy of the 5,000-yard mark and has also reached the end zone 25 times. With 496 receptions in his career, Engram is currently tied for 29th amongst all active NFL players.
Engram was a 1st-round pick out of Ole Miss by the New York Giants back in 2017. He’s made 2 Pro Bowls — 1 each with the Giants and Jags — and will likely have a number of suitors in free agency this offseason.
Per ESPN, cutting Engram will save the Jaguars $5.98 million against the salary cap next season.
