FORMER WWE star Brian Knobbs is in hospital and may be forced to have his foot amputated.
The 60-year-old was one half of iconic duo The Nasty Boys with wrestling partner Jerry Sags.
Knobbs recently suffered a foot injury that got infected, with the situation described as a “critical medical emergency”.
His life is now in danger due to his diabetes and other health problems.
The icon has set up a GoFundMe page as he looks to raise $30,000 for treatment.
On the site, it says: “His condition has worsened to the point where doctors are now considering amputating his foot.”
Knobbs’ health issue comes five months after he lost his home to Hurricane Milton.
He wrote a personal message on the page, which read: “It’s been a really tough time for me lately.
“I’m back in hospital after losing everything in the last hurricane and now I’m facing the possibility of amputation of my foot.
“I never wanted to ask for help again, but I need it now more than ever.
“I love you all and appreciate anything you can do.”
continued explaining that his condition has led to him cancelling several guest appearances on a cruise.
It read: “Brian had to cancel his appearance on the Chris Jericho Cruise back in January and the upcoming European cruise, as well as several other major commitments, making the situation even worse for him financially.
“He urgently needs help to recover safely and regain his strength.
“Let’s Rally for a Legend – One More Time.
“Brian has spent decades entertaining us. Now, he needs our help to get back on his feet – literally.”
As a duo with Sags, Knobbs won the WWF Tag Team Championship in 1991 and they were three-time WCW World Tag Team Champions.
