As the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle is half of one of the most recognizable couples on the planet. The former Suits star married into the British royal family when she wed Prince Harry, the youngest son of King Charles III, back in May 2018.
In the years since their highly-publicized nuptials, Meghan and Harry have officially stepped down from their roles as working members of the royal family, forgoing Harry’s native England to relocate across the pond and settle in sunny Montecito, California, with their children and three rescue dogs. At the time of that move in 2020, the couple said in a statement: “This geographic balance will enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for the royal tradition into which he was born, while also providing our family with the space to focus on the next chapter.”
And one big part of that next chapter is With Love, Meghan, Markle’s new lifestyle series for Netflix, which will premiere on the streamer on Tuesday, March 4. Per Netflix, the “inspiring” series hosted and produced by the Duchess of Sussex “reimagines the genre of lifestyle programming, blending practical how-to’s and candid conversation with friends, new and old,” with Markle sharing personal tips and tricks with viewers and inviting special guests like actress Mindy Kaling, celebrity chef Roy Coi, her Suits costar Abigail Spencer and more to join her in the kitchen, in the garden and beyond.

Viewers will no doubt be curious if they’ll be getting a peek at Markle’s private life with Prince Harry and their kids in the new series. So here’s information about Archie and Lilibet having cameos in With Love, Meghan and everything else to know about the royal youngsters.
How many children do Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have?
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have two children: a son, Archie, born on May 6, 2019; and a daughter, Lilibet, born on June 4, 2021. "To have any child, any one or any two would have been amazing, but to have a boy and then a girl, what more can you ask for?" Prince Harry shared during the couple’s 2021 primetime special Oprah with Meghan and Harry. “Now we've got our family. We've got the four of us and our two dogs and it's great."
Though the power couple have largely kept their children out of the public eye since the global announcements of their respective births, Markle has been candid about motherhood in the press and how it’s changed her outlook on life. “I’ve been a waitress, an actress, a princess, a Duchess … the most important title I’ll ever have is mom. I know that,” Meghan shared with Oprah Winfrey during that same sit-down.
Markel’s royal spouse similarly feels that same sense of responsibility when it comes to their kids. As reported by Harper’s Bazaar, Prince Harry shared during a March 2023 virtual book event for his memoir Spare: “I have two kids of my own, making sure that I smother them with love and affection … I as a father feel a huge responsibility to ensure that I don't pass on any traumas or negative experiences I've had. And that's work, that's putting in the work, and daily, being conscious of my behavior, of my reactions to both of my kids."

Prince Archie’s full given name is Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, though parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly opted to use the surname Sussex for both Archie and sister Lilibet ever since the coronation of their grandfather, King Charles III, to match their parents’ titles as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Prince Archie is believed to be named after Archibald Campbell, the 9th Earl of Argyll, who was a Scottish ancestor of Prince Harry's mother, the late, great Princess Diana.
What is Princess Lilibet’s full name?
Princess Lilibet’s full given name is Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. She is named after two very important women in her family: her forename is a nod to her paternal great-grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth II, whose family nickname was Lilibet, while her middle name is in honor of her beloved grandmother, Princess Diana. Little Lilibet is reportedly nicknamed “Lili” by her loved ones.

Do Harry and Meghan’s children have royal titles?
Yes, despite there being some controversy over the subject in recent years, Archie and Lilibet do have royal titles: they are officially known as Prince Archie of Sussex and Princess Lilibet of Sussex.
Archie and Lilibet were not initially given the titles "Prince" and "Princess" immediately upon their birth due to royal protocol, because they were not grandchildren of the sovereign but rather the great-grandchildren of the then-reigning Queen Elizabeth II. The children were thus referred to as Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor and Miss Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor.
However, when their grandfather King Charles III ascended the throne in September 2022, he granted Archie and Lilibet their current titles.

As the children of Prince Harry, the youngest son of the United Kingdom’s current monarch King Charles III, Archie and Lilibet are sixth and seventh in line to the British throne, respectively.
Their uncle, Prince William, is the heir apparent, followed by his children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Archie and Lilibet’s dad, Prince Harry, is fifth in line for the throne.
Did Harry and Meghan have a third child?
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle currently have two children, son Archie and daughter Lilibet. However, the royal recently gave an update on whether he and his wife will be expanding their family in the future.
Per The Daily Mail, Prince Harry joked at the 2025 Invictus Games in Canada: “I think one or two kids is probably enough ... I definitely think that. I know some people who've got five. I just say, 'Well, that's your own fault!'” The duke went on to say: “Having kids is amazing, but … it’s a journey every single day, every single week. They just grow and they change. I love the questions that they ask and the experiences and the challenges that they give you. It's great."
So it looks like for the time being, the Sussex fam will happily remain a foursome—along with their precious pups, of course!
Are Archie and Lilibet featured in With Love, Meghan?
While 5-year-old Archie and 3-year-old Lilibet don’t appear on screen in Markle’s new Netflix series With Love, Meghan, they are casually mentioned throughout the eight-episode show. Among the sweet details that Markle shares about her family are that little Lili carries around a doll called Stella Al Fresco, the family’s chicken coop is called Archie’s Chick Inn, and the Sussexes keep a lot of arnica on hand in the house because two curious toddlers means “lots of bumps and bruises.”
As for Archie and Lilibet’s royal dad, Prince Harry does appear in the final episode of With Love, Meghan, supporting his wife during a brunchtime launch party for her lifestyle brand, As Ever.
