India National Cricket Team pacer Mohammed Shami has stepped up big time for his team in the ongoing semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 against the Australia National Cricket Team. Dubai International Cricket Stadium is hosting the knockout game.
Mohammed Shami, who looked off-color in the last two games, has oozed his class with the ball in the ongoing semi-final against Australia. The fast bowler has bowled impeccable lines and lengths and troubled the opposition batters in his spells.
After he removed Cooper Connolly in the first spell, the pacer then provided his team with the important breakthrough of Steve Smith. The Australia National Cricket Team skipper was going great guns and was putting pressure on the India National Cricket Team with his impressive bowling.
Steve Smith was looking all set for a big ton, but Mohammed Shami had better off him in the 37th over. The fast bowler bowled a low full toss to which the batter came down the track and made room to drive. He missed the ball completely as it went on to hit off-stump halfway up.
Steve Smith was unhappy with the way he got out as he was shaking his head on the way back. But what caught the attention of many was the reaction of India National Cricket Team head coach Gautam Gambhir, who was sitting in the dugout.
Gautam Gambhir celebrated the wicket of Steve Smith aggressively as he was seen yelling F**k Yeah B****c**d. Virat Kohli, on the other hand, was delighted with the way Mohammed Shami removed the batter and was seen laughing mockingly.
