KROGER, the grocery giant has been called out on social media by a disgruntled shopper who blasted the chain’s delivery.
The customer lambasted Kroger and shared that this issue was the grocery store’s ‘final strike.’
With over 1,200 locations nationwide, Kroger is one of the most popular grocery stores in the US.
This, however, does come with its own challenges.
Earlier this week, a disgruntled shopper took to X to vent their frustrations with their local store.
The tweet began, “Hey @kroger, your delivery service sucks,” the customer ranted.
continued with the customer, “Strike 3, you’re out! 3 out of 3 by the way.”
Kroger delivery policy
Kroger offers same day delivery via Instacart
Shoppers can pay $6.95 for delivery within two hours.
Those who need something quicker can get items in as little as 30 minutes.
Orders must be a minimum of $10 to get quicker delivery.
Customers can save $15 on their first delivery order of $75 or more
She shared, “The idea is to make life easier for your customers. I don’t have time for this BS.
“Walmart delivery beats you hands down,” the post ended.
This comment was likely a burn for the retailer, with its direct competition, Walmart being mentioned in the post for having better service.
It wasn’t made clear what happened with the customer’s delivery to prompt a public post.
Unlike many instances, Kroger’s official X account failed to respond openly to the post.
It’s likely that the retailer chose instead to directly message the customer to assist with the complaint.
It’s not the first time the grocery chain has come under fire for deliveries.
Pickup is also a popular option for shoppers to choose their goods and then pick them up at their local Kroger when they are ready.
This comes after Kroger shoppers have felt they are being treated like criminals, while others have ridiculed the new reciept checking policy.
