AFTER 27 fights and more than a decade in a game, Lamont Roach is set for the biggest night of his career – and will be richly paid for it.
The super featherweight champion faces Gervonta “Tank” Davis in a huge main event in Brooklyn.
Davis may have mentioned retirement in the past, but that doesn’t mean he would give away his title.
The bout between the pair would be the first professional boxing match between the two well-known rivals who had faced off several times throughout their amateur boxing careers.
It is anticipated that Davis and Roach Jr. would both receive substantial payouts for their battle that awaits in Brooklyn.

Roach was scheduled to get a $200k purse for his most recent bout, which took place in 2024 against Feargal McCrory, according to Sporty Salaries.
Roach was to earn a $200k guaranteed pay for the bout against McCrory, according to a similar story from NY Fights.
