IPL 2025: Remaining purse for each team:
The IPL 2025 mega auction took place on November 24 and 25 in Saudi Arabia this year. The ten teams went all out as they overhauled their squads for the upcoming IPL season. Before the auction, each team was given a purse of INR 120 crore.
After retaining several players, the ten franchises combined to sign a total of 182 players in the mega auction. The teams spent a staggering amount of INR 639.15 crore to acquire the players.
Rishabh Pant became the most expensive player in the history of IPL as Lucknow Super Giants secured his services for INR 27 crore. Shreyas Iyer also earned a lucrative contract with Punjab Kings paying INR 26.75 crore for his services.
After the auction, RCB had the biggest purse remaining while CSK and KKR had the smallest purse. Although the purse is not very important after the auction, it could come handy if the franchise needs a replacement at a later stage.
So here is the remaining purse for each team:
CSK: Rs 5 lakh DC: Rs 20 lakh GT: Rs 15 lakh KKR: Rs 5 lakh LSG: Rs 10 lakh MI: Rs 20 lakh PBKS: Rs 35 lakh RR: Rs 30 lakh RCB: Rs 75 lakh SRH: Rs 20 lakhIPL 2025: Injured players' list and their replacement:

Allah Ghazanfar to miss IPL:
Mumbai Indians have lost the services of Afghanistan spinner Allah Ghazanfar for IPL 2025. He has been sidelined for at least four months due to a fracture in the L4 vertebra. The five-time champions have signed up his compatriot Mujeeb Ur Rahman as his replacement.
South Africa duo in doubt:
South Africa pacers Anrich Nortje and Gerald Coetzee could miss IPL 2025 due to injury. Both the bowlers are already out of the Champions Trophy and are in a race against time to be fit for IPL. While Coetzee is battling a hamstring strain, Nortje is sidelined with a back injury.
Lockie Ferguson in doubt after ILT20 injury
New Zealand star Lockie Ferguson is also doubtful for IPL 2025. He was recently ruled out of IPL 2025 due to a hamstring injury he suffered in the ILT20. He is set to play for RCB in IPL.
RCB sweating on Jacob Bethell's fitness:
