SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – A Santa Barbara jury has found local security company owner and part-time TV host Craig Case guilty on 63 of his 64 charged counts Thursday.
Closing arguments in the case were made Monday regarding charges that Case illegally obtained $690,000 from now-deceased Constance McCormack of Montecito.
Case obtained the short-term, no-term loans through Nancy Coglizer who had power of attorney over McCormack's estate and previously pled guilty to her own charges.
The exchanges were usually in smaller amounts that would not trigger additional oversight from financial institutions.
Case has been in custody since July of 2023.
Craig Case found guilty on 63 separate counts in connection with fraud of an elderly Montecito woman Thursday News Channel 3-12.
