Phoenix Mercury legend Diana Taurasi is retiring from basketball.
That sentence doesn’t even feel real yet. Taurasi spent 20 years in the WNBA and on the Olympic stage re-writing history, winning championships, gold medals and awards, nailing huge shots, getting numerous technical fouls and cementing her status as one of the best to ever do it. Women’s basketball won’t feel the same without her.
