Greeley police are investigating a drive-by shooting Saturday night near a park in east Greeley that injured a 16-year-old girl.
Police believe the gunshots — which struck the girl, who was in the driver’s seat of her vehicle — came from a vehicle driving on Balsam Avenue, according to a Tuesday morning news release from Greeley police.
About 11 p.m. Saturday, police responded to reports of a drive-by shooting at East Memorial Park, 2044 Balsam Ave. When they arrived, officers found the girl in her vehicle with a gunshot wound to her calf.
