It's no secret that Taylor Swift often evokes strong reactions in people when they meet her for the first time, and it was no different for professional tennis player Frances Tiafoe when he ran into her at a November NFL game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Denver Broncos.
Tiafoe opened up about the experience during a promotional interview for the ATP Tour Abierto Mexicano Telcel presentado por HSBC tournament, recalling how he was attending the football game with his girlfriend Ayan Broomfield when they entered a suite to find Swift in front of them.

"We go into this suite, and the first person we see in this suite is Taylor. And I'm like, 'Try to act like you've been here before,'" he explained in the interview.
He went on, singing high praise for Swift as he said, "It's crazy because you know like, I'm not even saying that I'm a Swiftie, but like, I appreciate greatness so much, and seeing how cool she was, she's got my ultimate respect."

Tiafoe spotlighted how "she was very knowledgable about what I was doing," explaining that she mentioned how she and her boyfriend Travis Kelce wanted to watch him play in the final at the U.S. Open and told him, "Trav loves you."
"She was so cool, one of the most humble people, for who she is. Super down to earth. She's amazing, and hopefully, we can do that again," Tiafoe concluded.

After attending the game in November, Tiafoe shared some photos from the day on social media, including a selfie with himself, his girlfriend, Swift and Kelce, as well as snaps with Brittany and Patrick Mahomes and photos of the football field.
