A THROWBACK picture of Travis Kelce has stunned Kansas City Chiefs fans on social media.
The photo was taken of an unrecognizable future 10-time Pro Bowl tight end Kelce during the 2013 NFL Scouting Combine.
With the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine set for Thursday, the Chiefs posted a side-by-side photo comparison of Kelce and Patrick Mahomes of their past participation at the event and the present day.
And fans of the team were more surprised with Kelce’s look at his Scouting Combine appearance.
Kelce was rocking a brushed-up hairdo, vastly different from his current shorter hair look.
The then-23-year-old also sported a lighter beard, unlike his fuller beard in the present-day.
Other than his hair being slightly longer, the current Mahomes looked mostly the same as his photo at the 2017 Scouting Combine.
Chiefs fans were in agreement that the 35-year-old Kelce looks younger than his 2013 self.
“Why he look younger now lol,” one wrote.
“The glow up that Travis had is amazing,” another commented.
“Who is the person on the left,” a third asked.
“First one looks like an old mugshot,” a fourth stated.
Mahomes has actually recently ditched his longer locks look.
He was recently seen donning shorter hair over the weekend at the 4th birthday celebrations of his and Brittany Mahomes’ daughter, Sterling Skye.
Mahomes’ new hairstyle comes after the Chiefs’ disappointing Super Bowl 59 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this month.
Kelce, meanwhile, has been contemplating retirement after completing his 12th season in the NFL.
He will be 36 this October and is coming off a career-worst season, recording 97 catches for 823 yards and three touchdowns.
The Chiefs have requested for Kelce to make a retirement decision by March 14 – two days after the NFL free agency begins.
Either way, Kelce will go down as one of the best tight ends in league history.
He is the third tight end to have 12,000 career receiving yards, only behind Tony Gonzalez (15,127) and Jason Witten (13,046).
Kelce is also third in receptions as a tight end (1,004), behind Gonzalez (1,325) and Witten (1,228).
