OLYMPIC hero Letsile Tebogo has been spotted rescuing people left stranded in their car by flooding.
The 21-year-old shot to stardom by winning 200m gold in Paris last year.
In doing so, he became Botswana’s first ever Olympic gold medallist.
Already a hero in his homeland, Tebogo performed a good deed yesterday.
Heavy rain this week has caused Botswana’s capital Gaborone to flood.
In fact, several roads have been closed across the country.
When a car got stuck in the water in Gaborone, Tebogo showed initiative.
In a video widely circulated online, the track and field superstar arrived in his 4×4 Toyota Land Cruise.
Using his big car, Tebogo was able to pull the other vehicle out of danger.
At last summer’s Olympic Games, Tebogo also earned a silver medal in the 4x400m relay.

Tebogo was his country’s flag bearer at both the opening and closing ceremonies.
