The Jacksonville Jaguars announced that they have completed their second general manager interview with the Rams’ Director of scouting James Gladstone.

After starting with 10 virtual interviews last week, the Jaguars whittled their list of candidates down to five finalists for in-person interviews this week.
With Gladstone’s interview now wrapped up, the second round of interviews is now complete. Now the expectation is that the Jaguars will announce their choice for the GM role over the weekend prior to the NFL combine kicking off next week.
Along with Gladstone, the Jaguars have also had second interviews with Ian Cunningham, Josh Williams, Ethan Waugh, and Jon-Eric Sullivan.
Gladstone has been in the Rams’ organization for the last eight seasons and in his current role for the last four.
He has worked closely with Rams’ GM Les Snead, and played a key role in the team’s draft process, an area where LA has found quite a bit of success, even with at times, limited draft picks.
Since Gladstone stepped into his current role, the Rams organization has finished with a combined record of 37-31, which includes three 10-plus win seasons, three playoff appearances, and a Super Bowl win, hitting on a number of draft picks and often operating aggressively in free agency.
