Hosted by Maya Jama, the programme features a studio audience alongside ex-islanders and famous guests.

On their Staying Relevant Podcast,co-host Pete Wicks asked Sam if he would be going back to Aftersun.

The 32-year-old replied: “I hope so, I haven’t been asked yet. I don’t think they’ve asked anyone back yet.

“I hope so, I f*****g love it man. It’s really, really great.

“I just always think with these kind of things, it’s like a little ladder isn’t it?

Sharing his love for the show, he added: “It would be really cool to be like even more of a part of it, if I could, moving down the line.”

Sam’s comments come as Love Island All Stars came to an end this week.

The final saw Gabby Allen and Casey O’Gorman emerge as shock winners.

They triumphed over Grace Jackson and Luca Bish to win the £50,000 prize.

Last month, it was revealed Sam and former Love Island star Zara McDermott, 28, had ended their five-year-long relationship.

The Sun revealed how Sam and Zara had been living separately for months leading up to their shock break-up.

Our source added that when the couple “had problems” back in the summer, they “vowed to give it one more try” and hoped that they could “work through their issues”.

When news of their split broke at the start of the year, a source close to the couple told MailOnline: “Sam and Zara have ended their relationship.

“It’s been an incredibly difficult decision for them to part ways; they still care and have a lot of love for each other.

“But after a tough year of working hard at their romance, they have split and will be focusing on their individual careers going forward into 2025.

“There has been no scandal or fallout between them, it’s just the result of a difficult year, where they both had to spend a lot of time focused on their own projects.”

Love Island airs on ITV2 and ITVX.
