Mick Jagger’s 8-Year-Old Son Hospitalized After Accident: ‘When They Hurt You Hurt’

Mick Jagger's youngest child, an 8-year-old son named Deveraux, is working hard to recover after an accident landed him in the hospital.

Deveraux's mother, ballerina Melanie Hamrick, shared the news in an update to her Instagram Stories showing a photo of Deveraux using a crutch.

Hamrick shared the snap of her young son holding the crutch in his right hand while he wore a blue cast on his left foot.

"Nothing feels more true - When they hurt you hurt ? He'll be back playing football again in no time though !! ?❤️❤️❤️," she wrote above the image.

Deveraux's mother didn't reveal what led to the hospital visit. But considering her positive statement that he should be back to sports soon, it seems likely that he'll make a full and swift recovery.

He is also father to Karis, 54; Jade, 53; Elizabeth, 40; James, 39; Georgia May, 33; and Gabriel, 27.

Jagger spoke with The Guardian about parenting in 2023, saying, "You get a bit out of practice – it's not like riding a bike. The more children you have, the more laissez-faire you get about them, to be honest."
