AT least one person has died in a crash after two airplanes collided at an airport, according to police.
The crash took place at Marana Regional Airport in Marana, Arizona, outside Tucson, on Wednesday morning.
The Marana Police Department confirmed the death but wasn’t able to provide any more details.
Airport officials confirmed that two planes were involved in the deadly wreck, according to ABC affiliate KGUN.
Terrifying images captured by horrified bystanders show plumes of black smoke erupting from the airport.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the wreck.
