DENVER (KDVR) -- Denver police are responding to two auto-pedestrian crashes in downtown Denver in which four people were taken to the hospital.
The crashes were reported one block from each other about 20 minutes apart, and one crash involved a bus, according to the Denver Police Department.
The first crash happened about 10:15 a.m. at 22nd and Lawrence streets. A vehicle hit a person, and the driver and passenger of the vehicle and the person hit were all taken to a hospital, a Denver police spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said one person's injuries were critical but did not say which person.
The second crash happened just after 10:40 a.m. at 21st and Lawrence streets.
A bus, the police spokesperson could not say if it was a Regional Transportation district bus, hit a person, who was taken to a hospital with unknown extent of injuries.
