COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- A wide variety of precipitation Sunday morning has caused multiple central Ohio counties to go under travel advisories.

Weather Alerts in central Ohio

Counties in the southern portion of central Ohio are under Flood Watches until Sunday afternoon while counties in the northeast section of central Ohio are under a Winter Weather Advisory. The latest forecast calls for one to two inches of snow to accumulate from west to east this afternoon after multiple inches of rain fell overnight.

    A blast of arctic air will arrive overnight, with Monday morning temperatures falling into the 10s.

    Current traffic conditions in central Ohio

    As defined by the Ohio Committee for Severe Weather Awareness, there are three classifications for snow emergencies:

    Level 1 snow emergencies

    Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads may also be icy. Motorists are urged to drive very cautiously.

    These central Ohio counties are under Level 1:

    Clark Crawford Hardin Logan Marion Union

    Level 2 snow emergencies

    Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads may also be very icy. Only those who feel it is necessary to drive should be out on the roads. Contact your employer to see if you should report to work. Motorists should use extreme caution.

    No central Ohio counties are under Level 2 advisory.

    Level 3 snow emergencies

    All roadways are closed to non-emergency personnel. No one should be driving during these conditions unless it is absolutely necessary to travel or a personal emergency exists. All employees should contact their employer to see if they should report to work. Those traveling on the roads may subject themselves to arrest.

    No central Ohio counties are under Level 3 advisory.
