Upon taking a bite, the reviewer called it “disgusting” and stopped eating it.

    THE MISSING PIECE

But there was more that surprised people than the taste – as they were quick to pick up on a staple of the Starbucks cake pop that is missing in the duplicate.

The stick is missing from the Trader Joe’s product, instead coming in a regular pack, removing the pick-up-and-go feel of the original snack.

But, this version is better value for money.

While a single Starbucks cake pop costs $3.25, the Trader Joe’s pack sells at $3.99.

They are also healthier alternatives for those still looking to get the sugar rush.

On average, Starbucks’ cake pops contain 160 calories and 16 grams of sugar.

One of the Trader Joe’s Sprinkle Cake Bites has 120 calories and 13 grams of sugar.
