An Israeli strike on the Gaza Strip's southern city of Rafah on Sunday has killed three policemen, according to the interior ministry.
The ministry said that the strike was a violation of the fragile ceasefire in place since January and that the policemen were securing aid trucks entering Gaza.
In another development, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also reportedly refused to allow the entry of mobile homes and heavy equipment into the enclave following a security cabinet meeting on Saturday evening.
Gaza's ceasefire almost fell apart last week after Hamas said it would refuse to release three Israeli captives, citing Israeli violations of the truce including blocking the entry of aid and equipment.
The three captives were released on time however on Saturday, in exchange for 369 Palestinians held in Israeli prisons.
