Jared Cannonier avoided his first three-fight losing skid on Saturday when he scored a critical rebound win over Gregory Rodrigues at UFC Fight Night 251.
Cannonier (18-8 MMA, 11-8 UFC) showed that he still has life in an increasingly crowed middleweight division when the former title challenger turned back surging contender Rodrigues (16-6 MMA, 7-3 UFC) by fourth-round TKO in their headlining bout at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
