The 28-player pool features 10 rookies, 11 sophomore players and seven NBA G League players.

How to watch All-Star Saturday night
All-Star Saturday night will feature the skills challenge and the 3-point and slam dunk contests. Saturday’s festivities begin at 6 p.m. MT at Chase Center on TNT & TruTV.
The skills challenge will feature team Cavs (Donovan Mitchell), team Rooks (Zaccharie Risacher, Alex Sarr), team Spurs (Chris Paul, Victor Wembanyama) and team Warriors (Draymond Green, Moses Moody).
The 3-point contest this year will be without the rematch of last All-Star game’s Stephen Curry versus Sabrina Ionescu shootout. This weekend’s contest will include two participants that are two-time champions in the event — Damian Lillard and Norman Powell.
Back-to-back slam dunk champion Mac McClung looks to be the first-ever player to three-peat in the contest. Bulls rookie Matas Buzelis, Spurs rookie Stephon Castle and the Bucks’ Andre Jackson Jr. look to stop McClung from making history.
How to watch the 74th NBA All-Star game
The 74th NBA All-Star game will take place on Sunday night at Chase Center at 6 p.m. MT on TNT & TruTV.
Kevin Durant is currently the lone Sun in this year’s new All-Star game format. He’s heading into the All-Star break on fire behind a pair of 30-point efforts. It is Durant’s 15th All-Star selection in his career.
Durant scored 34 points, three rebound, three assists and five blocks in Tuesday night’s 119-112 loss versus Memphis at home. The following night Durant followed up with a 37-point performance on the road against Houston in a 119-111 loss.
Durant will be part of Shaq’s Team OG which includes Curry and LeBron James. This year’s All-Star game will feature a four-team tournament. For all games, the first team to score or surpass 40 points wins the matchup and advances.
Durant is a two-time All-Star game MVP (2012, 2019).
Durant has played in 11 All-Star games, averaging 24.4 points on 53.9% shooting and 36.2% from three. He’s also averaged 6.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.7 steals per game. His highest scoring performance in the All-Star game came in 2014 where he scored 38 points.
The four teams taking part in the event are Kenny’s Young Stars, Chuck’s Global Stars, Shaq’s OG and Candace’s Rising Stars.
If Dunn’s Rising Star team wins the Rising Star championship game, they would be the representative of Candace’s Rising Stars team in the All-Star game.
