VICKY Pattison took a savage swipe at Channel 4 bosses as she revealed she almost took home the same wage as contestants on her new dating show.
The star, 37, will host the brand new format – called The Honesty Box – alongside Australian reality star Lucinda Light.
Similar to Love Island, it will see singletons couple up in a gorgeous villa in sunnier climates.
There’s also £100,000 up for grabs, however, they can only win it if they’re totally honest.
Speaking about the new show, Vicky teased there was quite the prize pot at the end – which was nearly more than her own salary.
The Geordie Shore star said: “You know, some people are, again, literally honest and some aren’t.
“Throughout the show, throughout the series, we try and work out who’s lying. That’s the predominant goal at The Honesty Box.
“But right here at the end, we sort of flip it and it can determine how honest you’re being on a sliding scale.
“And that’s how we determine the compatibility and ultimately who wins and who gets the trust fund.
“And it’s high stakes, despite the fact that there was a couple of false starts and some people who struggled with being completely transparent.”
Vicky then swiped: “The money was good at the end. It was almost more than I was being paid if I’m honest.”
The Honesty Box is set to launch on Channel 4 this Spring, with the cast yet to be revealed.
Over just nine episodes viewers will watch as romantic sparks develop on screen, with the brutal truth ruining some potential relationships.
