DENVER (KDVR) – The DEA Rocky Mountain Division told FOX31 some of the Denver area's worst drug criminals have been arrested and handed over to immigration agents.
The Special Agent in Charge in Denver, Jonathan Pullen, showed FOX31 photos of the 10 people agents said committed some of the most serious crimes.
The DEA said the people shown in the photos are all undocumented immigrants.
They were among more than 90 people agents arrested in just the last two and half weeks in Colorado.
The DEA says they were trafficking fentanyl pills other drugs and weapons and were a major money-making machine.
Pullen said the arrests are a major strike against drug cartels.
"There's going to be less criminals for the drug trafficking organizations like the Sinaloa and Jalisco cartels to utilize to peddle their drugs their poison on the streets of Colorado,” Pullen said.
One of top 10 suspects, the DEA says, was captured on video being arrested at the Edge at Lowry Apartments in Aurora.
The DEA and its operations became much more visible after President Donald Trump took office last month.

“We are collaborating in ways we never have before. We are taking the information in DEA's tank and ICE's tank and HSI’s tank and the FBI and are putting it all together and we are collaborating way we have never seen before in my entire career,” Pullen said.
The DEA says one of its major goals is to get drugs like fentanyl off the streets of Colorado.
“Last year we seized over 3 million pills in Colorado that was a record. And every station ran maybe one story on it. Now in the last two weeks because there is an immigration angle, we've had over 80 stories on the same work we have been doing for years,” Pullen said.
The 10 people described as the most serious criminals are now in ICE Custody.
