DENVER (KDVR) -- One person was taken into custody in connection to a deadly shooting that happened outside of an adult entertainment venue north of Denver early Monday morning.
Bruno Hernandez, 35, is facing a charge of first-degree murder, according to a release from the Adams County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office said deputies responded to the Players Club, an adult entertainment venue located at 6710 Federal Blvd., at 1:33 a.m. on Monday.
When deputies arrived, they found a man, identified as Jonathan Gulesserian, in the driver seat of a vehicle in the parking lot. The sheriff's office said he suffered a deadly gunshot wound and was pronounced dead by emergency personnel on the scene.
Investigators examined video evidence and conducted several interviews to identify Hernandez as a suspect. According to the sheriff's office, security footage from the club allegedly showed Hernandez in an altercation with Gulesserian moments before the shooting.
Investigators linked Hernandez's vehicle to the shooting and located the car at a home in Fort Lupton. Hernandez was taken into custody with help from the Weld County SWAT Team, Ft. Lupton Police Department and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force.
