TAYLOR SWIFT fans have been labelled as “awful” after allegedly leaving fake bad reviews on a restaurant owned by Philadelphia Eagles star CJ Gardner-Johnson‘s parents.
It comes after the 27-year-old took a jab at Travis Kelce and Swift’s relationship.
In the hours after the Eagles thrashed the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl 59, the safety shared a photo of himself squaring up to Kelce on his Instagram story.
He captioned the image: “Should’ve stayed w that thick s****,” in an apparent reference to Kelce’s ex, Kayla Nicole.
Taking offence at the dig, Swifties and Chiefs fans retaliated in due course.
King’s Grill, in Rockledge, FL, is owned by Gardner-Johnson’s parents, Brian and Del.
But fans took to Google to review-bomb the restaurant.
One so-called customer said: “Worst food and service of my life, the chicken was raw. They should close it down for putting people’s lives at risk.”
Another said: “Terrible customer service and below average food.”
Scores of others simply submitted one star reviews.
Responding to the review bombing, one account on social media said: “Swifties and #Chiefs fans have been leaving bad fake reviews on #Eagles DB CJ Gardner-Johnson’s mother’s restaurant in Florida.
“This comes after CJGJ went after Kelce. His mom did nothing and they are putting her livelihood at risk. Awful.“
Gardner-Johnson’s parents are not bothered either.
Speaking on TMZ, Del said: “[We are] Going to be fine regardless of who posts what or says anything. We’re good.”
The unusual activity actually triggered an “Unusual Activity Alert” on the restaurant’s Yelp page.
Meanwhile, Google removed many of the spam comments.
Gardner-Johnson has not commented on the review bombing.
There are rumours Kelce is considering retirement, with the 35-year-old admitting he was not at his best on the day.
In a clip on New Heights, he said: “I’m kicking myself for some of the tiny, tiny decisions I made on the field.
“I wasn’t the best that I could be in motivating my guys and keeping my guys calm, cool and collected and I put a lot of that on myself, you know, as the guy that’s been in the building for 12 years and seen a lot of football and seen a situation just like this, in the Super Bowl…
“I love my teammates, I love my coaches. Chiefs Kingdom, I’m sorry for how it ended. I have a beautiful life man.
“I have loved ones, I have the most amazing family in the world that supports me in everything I do and they were all there, cheering me on and hoping for the best on Sunday.
“I wish things had went different. I wish I had made better decisions early on to help my guy Pat out and help my team find that momentum and that confidence.
“But you know, I just have to tip my hat to the Eagles.”
